What are Intelligent Tags?

Our Intelligent Tags utilize RFID (radio frequency identification) that uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify, and track tags attached to objects.

What does it replace?

It eliminates the need for manual tracking through paper checklists and barcode scanners, which are time-consuming and prone to human error. 

The system works by attaching tags to each piece of equipment or container of narcotics. These tags contain unique identification numbers that are linked to specific items in the facility’s inventory database. When an item is scanned using a handheld reader, its location and status are instantly updated in the database. This instant update allows healthcare facilities to have accurate  and up-to-date information on the location and availability of equipment and narcotics. This is crucial in emergency situations, where every second counts.

With IntelliView, healthcare professionals can quickly locate the necessary equipment or medication without wasting time searching through paper records or manually checking inventory lists.
